When we hold events, we often take our collection tins with us to raise money for the local LGBTQ+ community in Cambridgeshire. All the money raised from these collections goes in to The Community Pot (affectionately known as the ComPot) . We use this money exclusively to provide small grants to local LGBTQ+ groups to help them do great stuff within our community. Previous grants have included such things as:
- Sheet music for a local LGBTQ+ Choir
- Funding for a Blues Dance Class
- Fees for a Lecture as part of LGBTQ+ History Month
- Support for a local artist to hold an art exhibition
