Introducing a new LGBTQ Agony Aunt

Mandy Sellars has lived her entire life with Proteus Syndrome and fully understands the issues LGBTQ people have to live with. Never giving up, she has dedicated her life to continuing her education and helping others.

She has gained qualifications including a degree in Psychology, a Diploma in Counselling and a qualification in sign language. Currently she is also studying for a Diploma in Forensic Psychology.

As a qualified counsellor and living life with a disability, Mandy is the perfect person to talk to or ask for help and advice.

Mandy was recently featured in Pick Me Up magazine, appeared in the TV programmes Good Morning and the Jeremy Kyle Show, and was featured in another popular TV documentary, My Shocking Story: I Just Can’t Stop Growing, which was shown on Discovery Channel early in May.

We were delighted when Mandy agreed to become the resident Agony Aunt to LGBTQ Direct, a new web site dedicated to all facets of LGBTQ life.
