Keira Knightley has spoken out about the forthcoming birth and upbringing of her child. The beautiful British actress said that she finds it important that the child is unaffected by traditional stereotypes. ”I think it’s very important to raise boys who are feminists and very important to raise girls who don’t expect Prince Charming and allow men to be emotional and weak at points and strong at points. We’re looking for equality and not gender stereotypes” Knightley told the Los Angels Times.
Keira is well known for her feministic comments in the media. In 2013 she discussed feminism in the Harpers Bazaar and for her feminism has proven a particularly strong force in films or photo shoots when dealing with the manipulation of her body.
“I’ve had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi photographs or for film posters,” said Knightley during an interview with the Times.
If this gorgeous Brit and husband James Righton are expecting a babygirl or a babyboy remains a secret and we unfortunately still have to wait untill she is due.
