The Really Popular Book Club

July 27 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Cambridge University Libraries’ The Really Popular Book Club is back on 27 July, and all are invited to join us as we discuss James Baldwin’s title Giovanni’s Room. Told by his publisher to burn the manuscript, the novel is now considered a modern classic and a foundational text of gay culture. Our special guest for the evening will be Phil Sanger who is an LGBTQ+ artist, educator, and life coach whose work explores themes of coming out, visibility and representation. We’ll be discussing Giovanni’s Room on Tuesday 27th July, 7-8pm, using Zoom Meetings. Free, all welcome. Registration required: https://www.lib.cam.ac.uk/really-popular-book-club-giovannis-room.
