LGBTQ+ History Month community planning meeting
October 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
LGBTQ+ History Month takes place in February every year. In 2022, the theme is “Art In Politics”. As with last year, we expect that many events may be taking place in online.
Always a month full of a large variety of events, we need input from the community, as always, to find out what type of events people want to see – and this year, how we should run those events to be as accessible and as safe as possible. Please come along and share your ideas! You don’t have to come prepared with anything – it’s great to have your opinion on others’ ideas as well as your own.
We will be running this event through Zoom. Sign up for a free ticket on the Eventbrite link below, and you will receive the invitation to the Zoom meeting and instructions for how to use it. You will not have to use video, and if you don’t want to or aren’t able to speak on the call, you can also use the chat option in Zoom. If it is easier, you can also call into a Zoom meeting just using your phone. All the details will be on the email from Eventbrite.
To book your place, follow the link below. Registration is free! You do not have to have an Eventbrite account to attend the event, but in case you lose the confirmation email it is easier to set up one in advance. To sign up, follow the link in the top right of the website to “Sign in”, and follow the instructions. All the information you need to join the online event itself will be included in the confirmation and reminder emails sent from Eventbrite.
