LGBT History Month Community Networking Event

February 12 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

There will be a Community Networking Event co-hosted by Cambridgeshire County Council and The Kite Trust (a local charity that support LGBT+ young people) 2-4.30pm at Room 128 Shire Hall, Cambridge. We will have speakers including Pip Gardner (Chief Executive of the Kite Trust) and Aggie Fisher (Cambridgeshire Police-South Cambs Hate Crime Officer). Refreshments will be provided including tea, coffee, cakes etc. Community Organisations are welcome to have to have a stall for networking.

These events will follow the national theme of Poetry, Prose and Plays that for the first time links with the National Curriculum subject of English and also reflects upon the 20th Anniversary of the repeal of Section 28. This was a pivotal step forward in providing support to schools in respect of learning and educating for equality in the fight for an equal society.

Please RSVP to and do let us if your organisation wishes to have a stall at the Community Networking Event.

Accessibility:  there is step-free and wheelchair access via a lift. There are disabled toilets that are also gender-neutral.
