Lauren, pronouns she/her, is a third year PhD student in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities at Loughborough University. Lauren is also part of a Gender and Sport Centre for Doctoral Training (Twitter handle @LboroTGDSport) at the University which is made up of PhD students and academics all researching transgender and non-binary inclusion in sport and physical activity from a variety of different discipline areas. Lauren’s PhD is using an oral history approach to explore the sporting experiences of non-binary individuals. Lauren has also co-authored a guidance resource titled Non-binary Inclusion in Sport which can be downloaded for free from the LEAP Sports Scotland webpage (https://leapsports.org/files/4225-Non-Binary%20Inclusion%20in%20sport%20Booklet.pdf).
